We just closed on a 9 unit transaction in Southeast Portland. Phillip Barry represented the buyer and I represented the sellers. The sellers of the well maintained Lamplighter Apartments owned the property for about five years, and their philosophy was to take care of the property and more importantly- the tenants during their tenure as owners.
The generally ownership strategy of the sellers was to self-manage by focusing on high quality customer service to the tenants. When there was a
repair needed, the sellers responded quickly and fixed anything needed. The sellers cultivated strong relationships with the tenants, and almost all of their tenants were long term residents. Great job Lee and Lana!
