The Parke Place Apartments, located on 57 NE Alberta Street, underwent a “facelift” a few years ago and the new look includes repaired siding, new paint, and newly installed landscaping.

The 1911 property features hardwood floors and bay windows, cultivating a unique Portland feel.  Since the owners purchased the property in 2007,  they put the “finishing touches” on the details, primarily the siding repair and landscaping.

It is hard to see the landscaping detail in the photos, but I really like the message it sends to prospective tenants to have quality landscaping.  To me, it says the ownership cares about the property and tenants.

Many of the wood siding boards were rotting upon the purchase in 2007, and those have since been replaced.  While only some of the boards were rotted, replacing all bad spots tremendously increased the building’s street appeal.  The owner’s report nearly 100% occupancy all the time, I guess the tenants like the street appeal as well!
